As a life-long New Yorker, Joey Avino has always been a capitalist of great opportunity, a fast-paced work environment, and enriched lifestyle. Being born on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, Joey spent 26 years living in and around New York City. After graduating Seton Hall University, Joey started Amedia Creative Inc, a web design and development company which builds highly-scalable feature-rich web portals and web applications.
Building up a solid client base out east, it was time to make a solid move to expand into a more modern work environment. In Q1 of 2011, Joey picked up his entire life, his company, kissed his family goodbye, and moved out to the unspeakable Las Vegas. Not knowing one person—Joey was set on creating new opportunities for his company in a city with great international potential and a tax-free climate.
His first apartment in Vegas, a construction site for seven months, was completely renovated. Located in The Martin, a high-rise of prime real estate, this centralized location proved to be a good move for business. Joey managed to increase his company’s profits by 25% in one of the worst economic of times, opened a new office in South America, and hired 40% more staff to handle the overload of work from clients like Cisco, Exotics Racing, HGTV, National Geographic, and more.
His motto “take care of the people who take care of you” translates to all facets of his life.
